New production line put into operation, Econess Energy entered the era of large-sized wafers
Recently, the professional photovoltaic manufacturer Econess Energy's 1GW new automation production line announced the commissioning.
Econess Energy 's new automated production line has an average annual production capacity of close to 1GW. Its products are mainly 166-size 9-busbar half-cut modules, compatible with bifacial dual glass technology. The efficiency of the produced mono perc modules exceeded 20%, and the output power of the 60-cells and 72-cells modules reached 365W and 440W, respectively.
" Large-sized wafer modules are the market trend. From 156.75 to 158.75 to the current 166 modules, Econess Energy has been relying on its own technical strength to keep up with the market demand, continue to explore and innovate." Zhao Weidong, Chairman of Econess Energy introduced, "While the 166 module provides a good balance between efficiency improvement, cost reduction and system compatibility, we believe that it will exist as the mainstream market for a long time in the future."
"On the basis of large-sized wafers, we have also incorporated multi busbar technology, which can reduce the surface shielding, increase the light receiving area, and shorten the conduction distance of current on cells, which can effectively reduce the series resistance of the module. Reduce the current loss and improve the anti-cracking performance." The head of the Econess Energy R&D team said, "Using a thinner and narrower busbar design can also reduce silver paste consumption and effectively reduce module production costs."
With the commissioning of the new production line, Econess Energy entered the era of large-sized wafers. According to statistics, Econess Energy 's average annual production capacity has reached 2GW, and has achieved full product line coverage from traditional polycrystalline modules to 9-busbar half-cut monocrystalline 166 modules.
